BASIC NANOTECH ETHICS - - "CAN" vs. "SHOULD"

Increasing capabilities necessitate the serious discussion of nanotech ethics.  The preservation of human life and experiences in quality* form must not be sacrificed to chaotic scientific "advancement".  Every responsible adult should realize that we should not do all that we "can" do.  Rather, we should do all that we "should" do.  As simplistic as this principle is, many seem to misunderstand its importance.  For example, we "can" rob a bank; however, we "should not" rob a bank.

In light of the above, let us observe that the task of nanotech ethics is to determine, not what we "can" do; rather, it is to determine what we "should" do.  Once we determine the "should", all that falls outside the domain of the "should" must automatically reside in the domain of the "should not".
